A Sacred 6-Day Journey of Healing, Awakening & Initiation
There comes a moment in life when the noise of the world fades and a deeper voice begins to stir within you. It calls you beyond the familiar, beyond comfort, beyond the stories of who you’ve been - and into the wild unknown of your own soul.
This is the moment of INITIATION
This is not a retreat.
This is not a workshop.
This is an initiation, a rite of passage.
A Vision Quest is an ancient rite of passage, reborn for our time, that calls you back into direct connection with the earth, the sacred, and your own soul. It is a sacred return to simplicity, silence, and the language of the Earth - a journey into the wilderness where Spirit speaks not through words, but through wind, water, dream, and symbol.
Over 5 nights and 6 days on sacred land in the Midwest forest, you will step away from everything you’ve known, guided gently into communion with the living world - stepping into clarity, empowerment, and a deeper sense of who you are.

Each Quest is held for an intimate circle of participants, allowing space for personal attention, depth, and safety.

The Journey Structure
✨ Preparation (8 Weeks)
The Quest begins long before you arrive on the land.
Over the course of 8 weeks, we gather in live 75-minute group calls to prepare your body, mind, and spirit for this initiation.
During these calls, you will:
Receive teachings and tools to clear old blockages and gain clarity for your Quest.
Learn the shamanic language of the Earth — symbology, dreams, animal speak, and the sacred cycles of life.
Begin devotional practices to root you into presence and strengthen your connection to Spirit.
Prepare physically and energetically for your time on the land through guided rituals and reflection.
✨ The Quest - Rite of Passage
Held within the quiet majesty of a Midwestern forest, your Quest will take place in solitude —
each participant camping alone on the land, while being fully supported and energetically held.
Together, we will begin with a group ceremony and grounding meal, connecting with one another and the Earth before entering the sacred threshold.
For three full days and three nights, you will fast — resting in stillness or moving through prayer, song, and drumming.
Here, you enter communion with the living field: the elements, your ancestors, your soul’s remembering.
You will be guided by the signs, symbols, and dreams that arise in the silence.
I will be close by, holding energetic and practical support, ensuring that your safety and your sacred unfolding are both deeply honored.
✨ Return & Integration
After your days in solitude, we will gather once more around a shared meal — nourishing body and soul as you begin to weave your vision into form.
The following day is devoted to integration, reflection, and rest before departure.
Your journey continues beyond the forest with:
Two group integration circles held virtually over the following two weeks.
One private 1:1 integration call with Tamar to anchor your insights and support your return to daily life.Warm meal and group circle to share your experience.
A Personal Note From Tamar
In 2017, after a year-long study in the shamanic arts under my teacher Jane Hardwick Collins, I took my first Vision Quest.
That Quest changed me forever.
It gave me answers about my life, my purpose, and my connection to Source Creator on a scale I had never known. Every moment was filled with the sacred. It stripped away illusions and reminded me of who I truly was (of my power, my magic, my belonging).
I walked off that land a different woman. And I have carried those teachings every day since.
It is my deepest honor to now guide others into this rite of passage.

Yes. You will be fully guided and supported throughout the process. This is an ancient practice carried out for centuries, and modern safety considerations are integrated. You will be given clear preparation instructions, and I (Tamar) will be holding space for you throughout the quest.

No prior experience is necessary. The 8 weeks of group calls will prepare you with everything you need to know: from how to work with dreams, signs, and symbols, to how to physically and spiritually prepare for fasting.

Yes, during the fasting days and nights, you will be in your own sacred spot on the land, in silence. However, you are not abandoned. You are held in the larger group field, and I will be present as your guide, holding the container.

The intention is to fast for 3 days and 3 nights, as it is a clearing for your body / mind / spirit in order to be a clear channel for messages to be received, but this is your journey. If your body truly cannot continue, adjustments can be made. You are always sovereign in your process.

A full list of items will be provided after acceptance. This will include clothing, ceremonial items, gear, and practical supplies to support you on the land.
